The Secret World

No more level grinding?  What would you do in a MMO if you could not slay boars or murlocs for hours upon hours?  The developers of The Secret World are trying to take MMORPG’s in a new direction, or at least theirs.  Without levels the team at Funcom are looking at other ways to allow characters and players grow within the story.  This should welcome new players of the genre very warmly.  The Secret World will have 3 different factions, or secret societies, available to players depending on their play style and attitude.  The game will also contain guilds (cabals) and highly customizable armor/weapons.  Check the RSS photo feed for some screens!  Stay tuned for more info!

Red Remover!!!

I’m not to sure when this game was created but it sure is addictive.  The game works off a pretty creative physics engine allowing the player to creatively eliminate all the red (miserable) boxes on the screen while keeping the green (happy) boxes on the screen safely.  The levels start pretty easy and, of course like any other game, it progressively becomes harder.  With a par mode and some bonus levels, it should pass the time you need to kill at work, school, home, etc.

Okay, they are not “Bombing” the moon but more so putting a little hole in it to further their search for water.  The missile is supposed to travel at twice the speed of a bullet a blast a hole big enough to further their research.  On October the 9th the missile will hit the moon’s surface near the South Pole.

You can watch a live TV broadcast of the LCROSS mission on NASA TV.  According to NASA the impact should happen at 7:30am.

Yes thats correct!  Ryo is back, but it might not be quite the way you were expecting.  He will be racing alongside some of Sega’s other well known characters in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing.  With his classic motorcycle and forklift at his disposal you better watch your back Sonic!  What next for the Shenmue franchise?  Lan Di in a tennis sequel?

We apologize for the noticable gap between this post and that last.  Hopefully this will not be an issue in the future.

Lets see… what has happened between the then and now?  A newfound respect for 2-D fighters, Halo’s extremely boring ODST, Halo’s extremely intense firefight mode, PSP go, Left 4 Dead‘s extremely short ‘Crash Course’ and the emerging rumors of a Super Street Fighter IV. Continue reading
