As we all know game-to-movie adaptations have gained a terrible reputation among both the gaming community and movie industry.  Well guess what, we have another one for you.  Director Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Spiderman, Drag Me To Hell) and writer Chris Metzen (Starcraft, Diablo, Warcraft II)  have signed on to write and direct what can be another disaster of a movie.  Rumor has it that they will be accompanied by one of the “Dark Knight” producers as well (if that makes a difference).  With names like these behind this monster of a franchise there is no way this could be bad, right?  I guess we will just have to wait and see.

A good reason the internet is so great.

It gives us sites like BITMOB.  This is honestly one of the best gaming sites out there.  A group of bloggers/gamers strewn together  from bits and pieces of the old EGM crew and folks from sorethumbsblog.com.  Bitmob gives you the inside scoop and exclusive interviews with all the great game designers and officials out there.  They give up-and-coming content creators a chance by allowing them to submit posts.   This is gaming news from a gaming community.  What else could you ask for?

We will just have to wait and see!

Hello!  My name is Chris and this is the first post for Techtrosity.  I have been working very hard on getting this website up and running but as you can tell I have settled for this blog at the moment.  Work is very well underway on the actual site.  Give it some time (and money) and we will see it soon enough.  The site will contain information and news on current (tech) events and gaming news as well.  Me, being from Columbia, SC, will also keep up with local gaming events and nationwide events as much as I can.  I am recruiting some help to keep this site running very smoothly.  Until later please leave suggestions and comments on what you think!
