As well all know there was a giant uproar in the Valve community after the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2.  Gamers and zombie enthusiasts alike were angered at the fact that the next installment was already being released when there was more DLC promised for the first.

From the looks of things it seems Valve has slightly turned its back on the gamers.  They are very well known for their dedication to the software they put out and are great in the way that they continually add content to those products allowing us to avoid dishing out more money for a whole new game.  It now seems that Valve has come across their cash cow.  I’m not saying that I won’t be purchasing L4D2, but I hope this doesn’t repeat.  There still hasn’t been any new levels that were “promised” for the original (except for the addition of the survival mode and the now finished versus mode).  No new campaign levels haven’t even been released and we already have 2?  Come on Valve, seriously?  This is kind of a let down, but I’m sure that it is still going to be great.  What can I say?  I’m a sucker for zombies.
